By age 28, John Hersey was the vice president of a $1 billion bank. He was senior vice president of a top global advertising agency by age 34. He then led successful start-up ventures in consumer products, distribution, and telecommunications. Now he applies his vast business and management experience as a consultant, newspaper columnist and popular author. During my career with IBM, AT&T and DSI, I have had the opportunity to watch dozens of well-known, top-flight speakers in action. I must admit, however, that I have not seen a higher impact performance on an audience than John Hersey’s.
